This World Wide Wrestling session will have quick character set up followed by everyone fighting for the prize-- a contract with the promotion. Most playbooks will be available (Core, International Incident, Season 1 & 2). No experience necessary with pro wrestling or the rules, everything will be taught in a friendly environment. If you’ve been curious about World Wide Wrestling, come in and try it out. It’s fun and furious for any and all. Your Creative’s a relative newb to Pro-Wrestling so we’ll all advance together. Move lists and playbooks will be posted ahead of time. Content Warning: Some wrestling gimmicks and storylines can hit on problematic areas. We will discuss tone and use the X-Card for safety

Alun R facilitates a session of Night's Black Operators using a version of the 'Operators: Cinematic Roleplaying' (SJK Publishing) rules, tweaked for play in the 'Night's Black Agents' setting (from Ken Hite), as part of Gauntlet Con 2019 (https://www.gauntlet-rpg.com/gauntlet-con-2019.html). An approach from a former contact and friend brings the team to Stasbourg where an ambush fails to stop them recovering a fascinating letter. It leads them to southern Saxony only to have a confrontation on the autobahn with an 18-wheeler and a couple of genre required black SUVs. A moment of respite over a home cooked meal puts a team member's mother at risk before they track the monster back to it's lair. There follows hacking, acrobatics, fights and a confrontation ... This session was scaffolded by 'The Van Helsing Letter' (by Graham Ryder-Hanrahan), also published by Pelgrane Press.

Ostensibly, it's an academy built to allow veteran supers to teach youngsters how to become heroes. In reality, the New Guard's seed money for the venture came from Optimax Industries, and the corporation went through their own extensive files on metahumans to find the most dangerous students, those students who have failed their psych profiles, and those who had the power to destroy city blocks. Some members of the New Guard wants to train these kids to prevent them from becoming dangerous supervillains. Optimax, it seems, has other plans.

TONIGHT WE FLY A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away... There was a starfighter squadron in the Alliance to Restore the Republic composed entirely of non-human beings. Hailing from farflung planets in the Outer Rim, they were Rebel pilots hastily trained to help out in the last, desperate days of the fight against the Empire. These 200 beings, flying outdated starfighters from the days of the Clone Wars, attacked the invading Imperial forces every night, fighting to bring freedom to the population of the Core Worlds. To each other they were family, with bonds forged in blood and terror in the cold black of space. To their Rebellion commander, a former Imperial Moff, they were an embarrassing group of uncivilized aliens. To the Empire, they were simply the Witch Squadron. Witch Squadron is a loving reskin of Bully Pulpit's Night Witches, a tabletop role-playing game about women at war. Our apparatus has to save the life of the architect from copycats and find which is their relationship to the Curator and the society of contracts. As we drive to the conclusion to the confrontation of ideas, the true horror is revealed: the healthcare system.

Spectaculars: The Virtosos #6 (10/19/19)

There was a recording problem with #5. Chaim and Thunderstruck, the newest member of the Virtosos, stopped aliens crashing into the Earth, capturing one of the ships. An escape pod was launched and Thunderstruck and Spwyn rush out to talk down the 9ers in Royale Hill to let them deal with the alien machine.

Root: The Tabletop Roleplaying Game is based on the award-winning Root: A Game of Woodland Might & Right, a board game about conflict and power, featuring struggles between cats, birds, mice, rabbits, foxes and more. You'll all play as vagabonds, denizens of the Woodland who have been cast out of "civilised" society, whether by their own volition or by exile. You venture throughout the woodland fulfilling jobs and tipping the scales in the conflict between the factions. The game focuses on fun adventurous action and escapades, in the meaningful, lasting backdrop of the Woodland and its war. You'll get into big fights and stage cunning heists, and by doing so, you'll earn reputation with different Woodland factions, and perhaps even help them to take control over clearings. The game is currently being funded on Kickstarter, so this two-shot will be run using the Quickstart rules which are currently available for free on DriveThruRPG.

This is the first in a series of three sessions of the Monsterhearts 2 RPG by Avery Alder (https://buriedwithoutceremony.com/monsterhearts) This game is run as part of Gauntlet Hangouts - for more information about the community, and to sign up for games, you can visit https://www.gauntlet-rpg.com/gauntlet-hangouts.html This game is set in St. Osana's School for Boys, a boarding school in North Yorkshire in 1968, and is a loose sequel to my previous game in the same setting. We follow the exploits of four boys from Postgate Upper Fifth, as Autumn fog creeps over the Yorkshire Moors. A lethargic air hangs heavy in the boys' prep room, as Burnley the Ghoul has a brief, intense daydream of his untimely demise. CF the Hollow has a far more enticing dream, lured out on the wiley, windy moors by the enigmatic Isaac Crowther. CF's dream, however, is soon interrupted by the Headmaster's son, Lovelace the Infernal. Lovelace's aloof disdain quickly melts to reveal the hot-blooded passion beneath, and the two share a moment of intimacy in the closet - though perhaps slightly less private than either of them realise. His Highness Karuna Singh the Mortal plans to sneak out of school for an clandestine rendezvous with Burnley, though his plans are delayed when he steps in to act the hero in his lover's place.

Night's Black Operators: The Lisky Bratva (3/5)

Alun R facilitates the 3rd of 5 sessions using the 'Operators: Cinematic Roleplaying' (SJK Publishing) rules, tweaked for play in the 'Night's Black Agents' setting (from Ken Hite), as part of the Gauntlet Hangouts Calendar (https://www.gauntlet-rpg.com/). Heading into the shadow of the Carpathian Mountains the team have to pick up a 'minder' sent by their sponsor before being confronted with the Lisky Bratva's people trafficing activity. After hijacking a truck they find themselves unable to ignore what may be going on at Dragovir Monastery and an investigation turns into a raid as they find solid evidence of the supernatural power behind Josef Lisky ... These sessions are scaffolded by 'The Zalozhiny Quartet' (by Graham Ryder-Hanrahan), also published by Pelgrane Press.
