In this session we use the rules from Brandon Leon Gambetta's telenovela game Pasión de las Pasiones to run the Delta Green adventure Music From A Darkened Room, and sparks fly when our tumultuous love triangle are forced to investigate a strange old house with a history of death and horror. There's Mark Sheerwright, the former Scalp Hunter for the Black Lodge criminal organisation, which we discover had links to the Conspiracy. We meet Jesusita Ramirez, the former Mosaad Analyst who believes the Fae took her lover and Kadir 'Gun' Guner, the GSG9 Sparks who wants revenge for what he thinks the Conspiracy did to his team. Finally, there's Andy Lam, retired confidential informant Handler for the UK's National Crime Agency, who spotted patterns in some investigations he couldn't explain as anything but supernatural. There's a museum in Manchester, an over-qualified curator and a creepy ring ... then heavy handed security with guns, a kidnap, and a theft ...

Having retrieved a legendary sword last time, the team needs to track down a Demon to use it on. Vera the Driver follows a rapidly rising Government minister while Kate the Provocateur schmoozes his private secretary. Meanwhile, Tony the Sparks discovers that Demons are compelled to tempt their victims first and can be deterred by a symbol of faith. Finally, Jacko the disgraced SEAL investigates the locations the minister is visiting and discovers they form a pentagram over central London that's centred on the BBC's Broadcasting House. There's a secure annex at the Beeb, a flashy reception hosted by its Director General, and a group of surprise guests ... then a change of mind, a summoning, and a tempting ... before a child of the Church wields the power of a Saint ...

There, Mr Garland tells them Dr Dee wishes them to find a Mr Gilbert and The Book of Dead Names said to be in his possession. Captain Slater assays some breaking and entering, while Friar Clark and Mr Froste use a desire for honest work to cover their interest in Mr Gilbert's house; Herr Schwartz, though, disturbs a goodwife. There's a house surrounded, dank passages, and a blood trail ... then rats ... so many unnatural rats ...

Alun R facilitates the thirs of four sessions of Against the Dark Conspiracy, using the Demonic Conspiracy variation. This session was organsied as part of The Gauntlet RPG Community's monthly calendar of games (www.gauntlet-rpg.com). After they realised that only a 'weapon of faith' can end their nemesis, 'Mr Bentley', former CIA Handler, Kate, goes for post-lecture drinks with an expert on demons and their banes. Meanwhile, reformed(?) Criminal Sparks, Tony, researches legendary weapons and where they are said to rest. That gives former SEAL, Jocko, a location to stake out and Driver, Vera, somewhere to conveniently land a chopper. There's crooked British soldiers selling arms, a cave, and a claustrophobic tunnel ... then a Saint, a Sword and the SAS ...
