Alun R facilitates the second of 3 sessions of his supernatural thriller game, Against the Vampire ConspirACY. This session was organsied as part of The Gauntlet RPG Community's monthly calendar of games (www.gauntlet-rpg.com). We pick up with Yelena the former SVR Assassin confronting a supernatural Servitor in the front of an armoured limo, while Jimmy the former MI6 'deniable' fails to intervene as expected. Meanwhile, Sophia, the team's Driver, is incapacitated which means that Cam, the French Hacker, has to get her hands dirty - which is when former Edinburgh Detective, Inspector Susan McLoed, arrives to help out. There's gunshots, an explosive car chase, and an interrogation, before the next Operation begins to take shape ... the opportunity to find out more about the 'Van Helsing lineage', by infiltrating a Club that's the front for the Conspiracy in Bucharest ...

After being escorted from the premises by a dapper boy, Dr. Fenworth visits the morgue and Trixie has an unsettling encounter in a gambling hell.

Alun R facilitates the first of 3 sessions of Against the Dark Conspiracy - his supernatural thriller game. This session was organsied as part of The Gauntlet RPG Community's monthly calendar of games (www.gauntlet-rpg.com). 'Cam' Duchamp, the former DGSE Hacker called for help when her partner went missing at the end of a previous Op. Answering the call is Jimmy Rook, deniable criminal asset for MI6, Sophia Manzanares, ex-Secret Service Driver, and Yelena Nikitichna Pushkina, who used to kill people for the SVR (and perhaps the Conspiracy). After re-inserting the young woman Cam had rescued during that Op into the Conspiracy the team track her boss (and likely abductor) to an elegant villa on the outskirts of Bucharest. There's a creepy scientist, an armoured limo, and dangerous driving. Then, Yelena notices something odd about the limo driver ...

The boys from St. Osana's are let out to visit the Hades Village Fete and enjoy ices on an only partially cloudy British summer day. Lawrence is humiliated in a contest of skill against one of Lewis' old schoolmates. Valentine gets in a scrap with an old friend on the Hades Grammar team and receives a round of talking to. In the lead-up to the semi-final match, Valentine is brought before the Headmaster, and Lawrence and Lewis have a heart-to-heart.

The year is 1922, and at St. Osana's School for Boys the cricket team is preparing for the semi-finals of the Yorkshire Boys Cricket League - the first time they have reached it in years. We meet some of the team members at the boarding school in the North Yorkshire town of Hades.
